With reference to the Conditions of Hire, the following is the schedule of clean up activities that must be carried out by the Hirer:

Foyer:

  • Floor to be swept or vacuumed if necessary.
  • Lights to be turned OFF.

Auditorium (Main Hall):

  • Floor to be swept and any spillages mopped up.
  • Heaters to be turned off.
  • Round tables to be wiped and placed on special trolleys and placed in rear corner of Hall.
  • Blue chairs to be stacked NO MORE THAN 5 HIGH and placed at rear of Hall. See below for illustration.
  • Brown chairs to be stacked NO MORE THAN 5 HIGH and placed along sides of Hall. See below for illustration.
  • Trestle tables are stored under the stage on special trolleys.
  • Lights to be turned OFF.

Stage (if used):

  • Floor to be swept and any spillages mopped up.
  • Curtains to be left OPEN (MUST use remote control for curtain motor.)
  • Lights to be turned OFF.

Supper Room:

  • Floor to be swept (carpet sweeper) or vacuumed if necessary.
  • Heaters to be turned off.
  • Chairs to be stacked NO MORE THAN 5 HIGH and placed next to wall.
  • Tables to be wiped and folded.
  • Six tables can be placed between heaters.
  • Four tables can be placed next to door connecting to Auditorium (Main Hall)
  • Two tables can be placed near sound system cabinet.
  • Lights to be turned OFF.

Kitchen:

  • Kitchen area to be left in the condition in which it was made available.
  • Lights switches to be left ON (automatic system).

Toilets:

  • Toilets are to be cleaned of discarded papers and left in a tidy condition.
  • Lights switches to be left ON (automatic system).

General:

  • Rubbish is to be placed in bins outside the Kitchen door.
  • All external doors to be closed and locked.

The following cleaning materials and equipment are located in the Cleaners' Cupboard near the rear main hall double doors:

  • 1 900 mm wide broom
  • 1 900 mm dusting mop
  • 1 600 mm dusting mop
  • 2 house brooms
  • 1 600 mm broom
  • 1 375 mm broom
  • 2 metal buckets
  • 2 mops
  • 1 vacuum cleaner
  • 1 "Nipper" (long handled litter grabber)

 

There is a cupboard at Stage Right that contains cleaning equipment for small cleaning jobs.

There is a cupboard in the Supper Room that contains a carpet sweeper.

Stow the chairs
